WATCHES WE LIKE

The Apollo XI editions are always very special as they celebrate the first landing on the Moon in 1969 by the NASA Apollo XI mission. Buzz Aldrin took that important step for humanity with the Omega Speedmaster on his wrist (while Armstrong had left it in the lunar module) becoming the first watch to be worn on the lunar surface. This limited edition of 1,969 pieces is from 2014, and mainly it involves the incorporation of new materials: gray titanium on the case, SEDNA rose gold bezel, matte ceramic tachymeter, and impeccable sandblasted finish brown dial combined with rose gold hands and indexes. It beats with the 1861 caliber and comes with sapphire crystal. For more information here is a great review.
