WATCHES WE LIKE
This PANERAI Radiomir with the 1940 case is the perfect example that PANERAI’s style is perfectly suited to small sizes… well, 42mm is not exactly small, but small enough to fit perfectly with a suit.
The Panerai Radiomir model was the first professional submersible model in the history of watchmaking. Originally designed to meet the military needs of the Royal Italian Navy. Today, the Radiomir 1940 42 mm model stands out for the clarity of its extremely pure dial design; only the dispensable small seconds at 9 o’clock breaks its harmony. Large Arabic numerals indicate 12, 3 and 6 o’clock, while between them, every five minutes, we find baton-type indexes of the same length as the numbers. The sword-type hands include Super-LumiNova applications, as well as the small seconds hand. The legend “RADIOMIR PANERAI” under the twelve o’clock completes the dial design.
